Kraft Lined Greyboard – 2 Sided is a greyboard material lined with kraft paper on both faces.
The greyboard centre gives the sheet its thickness, weight and rigidity.
The kraft liners give both sides a natural brown finish, which is useful when the inside and outside of the finished product may both be seen.
It is often chosen for packaging that needs a solid feel, simple presentation and more structure than lightweight cartonboard.
The main benefit of Kraft Lined Greyboard – 2 Sided is its balance of rigidity, thickness and two-sided presentation.
The board can be used where a plain grey reverse would look unfinished, especially in rigid boxes, backing boards and display-style packaging.
The kraft surface also works well for simple print, labels, stamps and unprinted packaging.
Because the surface is brown, print colours will look more muted than they would on white lined or coated board.
For most kraft-style packaging, that is part of the look.
Kraft Lined Greyboard – 2 Sided is commonly used for rigid box manufacturing, picture backing boards, industrial packaging, dividers, folders, protective sheets and presentation packaging.
It is well suited to applications where the board needs to stay flat, feel strong and show a consistent kraft finish on both sides.
Standard kraft lined greyboard is not designed as a water, grease or moisture barrier.
It should not be used for direct food contact, wet products or oily products unless the exact grade has been confirmed as suitable for that use.
For best results, specify the board by thickness, sheet size, required stiffness, kraft finish, print method and final application.
