2 Sided Kraft is a kraft lined greyboard with a brown kraft surface on both sides.
The greyboard core gives the material its thickness and rigidity, while the kraft liners give both faces a natural brown finish.
This makes it useful for packaging and board products where both sides need to look consistent.
It is often chosen for rigid packaging, backing boards and industrial applications where plain greyboard would look too unfinished.
The main benefit of 2 Sided Kraft is its mix of strength, thickness and presentable kraft finish.
Because the kraft surface is applied to both sides, the board works well for products where the inside and outside may both be seen.
The brown kraft finish also suits packaging that needs a simple, practical or recycled-style appearance without relying on heavy print coverage.
It can be cut, mounted, laminated and converted for a wide range of flat board uses.
Print is usually best kept simple.
Single-colour print, stamps, labels and basic branding tend to work better than detailed full-colour artwork, because the brown surface will affect colour brightness and contrast.
2 Sided Kraft is used mainly for manufacturing rigid boxes, picture backing boards and industrial packaging.
It is also suitable for dividers, presentation boards, protective sheets, craft products and packaging components where stiffness matters.
The heavier thickness range makes it useful for applications that need more body than standard cartonboard.
Standard 2 Sided Kraft is not a moisture barrier or grease barrier.
It should not be used for wet, oily or direct food contact applications unless the exact grade has been tested and supplied for that purpose.
For best results, specify the board by thickness, sheet size, kraft finish, rigidity requirements and how the finished board will be printed, mounted or converted.
